In his third single release, “Used To”, Jordan Barone sports tales of his proximity to, and yet distance from the stars, watching limos pass on his way to the 1 train. The late night serenader provides a glimpse of his Hip-Hop roots, encapsulating the artist’s ambition over heavy drums, and illustrating the “2 am second wind”, synonymous with late night studio sessions, post-performance after-hours, and the view of the skyline at dawn. Already a show favorite, the song’s climax has become a Hip-Hop mosh pit staple, defying the confines of Barone’s typical R&B lane, exemplifying that he is far from what they’re “Used To”.
